Adult Education

At St. John’s we value and support spiritual growth through a regular offering of educational programs.  We seek to facilitate deeper thinking and connection with the foundations of our faith and practices, and to offer practical information to enhance living our faith day-to-day with our families and in our jobs.  In short, our education program is one element of what helps us live our mission in a practical way, “to live out our faith in our community and world”.

Women's Saturday Book Group   Now starting at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's on Saturdays.
The groups begins a new book with the commencement of Advent:  "Made for Goodness" by Desmund Tutu, Anglican Bishop and his daughter, Mpho, an Episcopal priest.  How does the way God view us differ from the way we see ourselves? How could looking at others with God's eyes change us and the world? Tutu addresses these questions and more. Please join us in the Memorial Room for discussion, or read along with us.

Bible study is an important part of Christian education for St John’s parishioners.  Bible study groups meet weekly in parishioner’s homes on various weeknights.
